Hackney Downs Ward Forum
This is a meeting where councillors and members of the public can discuss local issues and work together on plans to improve our area.  Find meeting dates and locations here.

Become a Hackney School Governor
The Learning Trust, which runs Hackney schools, is always looking out for people to be Local Education Authority Governors at schools. For more information and an application pack, call 020 8820 7369 or download one here.

Join the local Labour Party in Hackney
We meet once a month in Hackney Downs ward, and have a guest speaker on local issues and updates from your local councillors. Being a member of the Labour Party is a way to get involved locally and meet your fellow neighbours, and to help change things for the better in Hackney.
